Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing two critter cards I made using the Star Swoop stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I used Distress Mica Spray on the one card and double-stenciled on the other - so much fun!

For this sweet card, I double-stenciled two images to create interest to the starry sky. I first dry-embossed with Star Swoop stencil and then added ink. While I still had that stencil in place, I placed the Four Corners stencil (both stencils by A Colorful Life Designs) over it and used a similar, but darker color. I stamped a few random hearts and added glitter to them.

I created this card to make it look like the dog was swinging on a swoop of stars! Not sure if zI got the imhe I wanted but still like how it came out. I sprayed Distress Mica Stains through the stencil and then softly ink-blended the ended.

I double embossed the sentiment, first with white embossing powder and then inked with sea glass dye ink (and embossed with clear EP) to see if it would take on that color, but it was still a little translucent; made for an interesting effect though!
