Striking Spring!

Today I am sharing two cards I created using the Striking Flower stencil by A Colorful Life Designs. I used foiling on one card and double-stenciling on the other, for two completely different looks.

I first dry-embossed the stencil on to Hammermill cardstock using my Gemini Jr. With the stencil still in place, I placed the Boho Stencil, also by A Colorful Life Designs, over it and stenciling in the same inks. With both stencils in place, I splattered with gold metallic watercolors.

I then stamped the sentiments and adhered to a card base. To finish off the card, I added some gold pearl embellishments for added sparkle.

I foiled the stencil using Lapis Watercolor foil onto a kraft card panel. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto colored cardstock, cut out and adhered with foam tape. Then I attached the entire panel onto a card base. This card came together quite quickly, once the Deco Transfer Gel was dry and ready for foiling.
