Winter Holiday Greetings

Below are more Christmas cards I made to send out this holiday season. These two cards are animal themed with very different styles and techniques.

I am sharing an adorable polar bear card I made especially for dear friend that absolutely loves polar bears.

This bear is celebrating the holidays with long walks in the snow with soft snowflakes falling all around. I love that he's wearing a little scarf!

I die cut the bear and scarf out of litter cardstock and also die cut a stitched snowbank as well. I used a snowflake embossing folder to dry emboss snowflakes onto wintry patterned paper to create the background for this scene.

I then adhered the embossed patterned paper to the card base and added the snowbank and bear tro the card front, then added the scarf to the bear.

Finally, I stamped, embossed and die cut the sentiment from white cardstock and adheed that to the top-left of the card front. I always love to add sparkling embellishments and bling, but there was just enough with all the glittery cardstock.

Can you resist a little bird wearing an adorable knit hat? I could not! :D

Inspiration for this card came from a video I saw on the Unity Stamps YouTube channel, check out this fantastic video here. I don't watercolor often but had to try it out with this image.

I watercolored the image on watercolor cardstock with dye inks and embellished his hat and berries with glitter gel and glossy accents. Then I adhered the panel to a scalloped panel and both were placed onto a card base.
