So Many Candles!

Today I am sharing with you 3 card designs I created with Simon Hurley create.'s Candles background stamp. You can use the stamp alone or use with the coordinating stencil set to make batches of cards....fast! Another neat thing about this background stamp is that you can pull it apart and only parts of it! Learn more from Simon's video here!

For this card, and the one below, I stamped in watermark ink, embossed with white detail embossing powder and then ink blended in rainbow colors using the candles stencil set, this is sometimes called an embossed resist technique

For this card, I continued with the emboss resist technique but added some Lunar Paste to the flames to give the cardsime shimmer! This was so easy to do since the one stencil is only flames and the Lunar Paste dries so fast!

This card is the simplest of the 4 cards I made and you could quickly make several of these in one sitting. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo black in and then used the stencil to color in the candles and flames with ink. No embossing or pastes so this made creating this card a quick process!

You can make a few of these ahead of time, with seethe technique and then add a sentiment to the card front that fits the occasion!
