Shimmery Birthday Florals

Today I am sharing with you two floral birthday cards I made with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. The process for both cards is the same and the hardest part is to leave the panels alone once you have sprayed water over the powders!

I stamped the floral image on two separate watercolor cardstock panels and embossed with white embossing powder. I taped the embossed panels to a wood board with painter's tape. I very lightly tapped the powder over each panel, in a random fashion. I then sprayed the panels with water, making sure that no dry powder was left on the panels, then set aside to dry. Once completely dry, I added them to card panels/bases, as shown below, and added sentiments and embellishments. They are more stunning in person!
