Boxes Full of Ornaments

Merry Christmas Eve!
I'm sharing a few Christmas cards I sent out this year using the Simon Says Stamps, Outline Ornaments Cling stamp Two different card styles but love how they came out!
RAINBOW OF ORNAMENTS!
I got the idea for this card from Amanda at Handmade Not Hallmark, check out her video here!
I followed the same proces Amanda did in her video. I stamped the background ornament image onto panel of watercolor paper and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.
I taped the panel onto a hard board (I use cheap clipboards) and gently sprinkled the Nuvo Shimmer Powders to the embossed image. I sprayed with water and moved the board around to get the water to certain areas and then set it aside to dry. It will look like a mess but just leave it and you will be surprised how stunning they will look when it dries!
These are surprisingly quick to create, the longest (and hardest) part is waiting for the panel to dry. So get out those shimmer powders and play! The more you use them, the more you will get comfortable with how they work and the results are fabulous!

RED ORNAMENTS
These holiday cards came together quite quickly with very limited supplies. You don't need a lot of supplies to make an elegant card.
I stamped the background with an ornament image and embossed with gold powder. I then inked the edges of the panel with a darker color than the cardstock to give the illusion that the center of the card is illuminated. And finally, I adhered a die cut sentiment to the front to finish off the card.
