I used the Kaleidoscope Flower stencil from the March release at A Colorful Life Designs to make two very different cards. One is bright with glitter and the other is dark with messy shimmer.

I dry embossed the stencil onto black cardstock that was already die cut with a label die from Spellbinders. I applied Lunar Pastes by Simon Hurley create, to the raised parts of the embossed design, with my finger, using light pressure so I would not get too much paste into the recessed areas. This process gave the project a mixed-media feel.
I die cut butterflied from silver holographic cardstock and adhered to the embossed panel with foam tape. I then glued the entire panel to a piece of grey cardstock, which was then adhered to the card base.
I then stamped and embossed a sentiment and added it to the front panel to complete the card.

This card came together quite quickly! I used 3 ink colors and shifted the stencil each time I applied the ink to a card panel. For the last layer, I shifted the stencil once more and added gold glitter gel. Once the glitter was dry, I adhere the panel to a card base.
I did not add a sentiment, I thought it looked kinda neat without it, but will add later when I actually go to use this card.
