I'm still having fun with A Colorful Life Designs' Vertebrae stencil!
Below are two very different cards I made using this versatile stencil.

I used another favorite stencil technique and dry embossed the stenciled image to a panel of Hammermill cardstock. With the stencil still on the card panel, I ink blended a rainbow of inks over the raised dry-embossed images. With the stencil still in place I added gold splatter, so that the splatter would only land on the stenciled image and not all over the entire panel. I adhered the stenciled panel to a folded card base..
I die cut the Happy Birthday word die in both mirror gold cardstock and turquoise cardstock. I stacked the gold die cut, just slight to the right, over the turquoise die cut so that part of it shows, almost like a turquoise shadow, behind the gold die cut. I adhered the stacked die cut to the stenciled card panel to complete the card.

This is a technique I often forget about but love the results. I learned about this technique from Jennifer McGuire, check out her video here
I used white pigment ink over the stencil on dark cardstock. After I cleaned the stencil, I relaid it over the white pigment stenciled areas and the shifted the stencil down slightly, and added Distress Oxide inks through the stencil, partially covering part of white pigment I already stenciled. This allows the dye ink to show up on the dark cardstock. I then splattered with silver metallic watercolor, added a sentiment and some floral holographic die cuts to finish of the card.
