Doggone Get Well

This pup is popping in to send Get Well wishes to a coworker who is recovering from surgery. Hopefully recovery will be a speedy one and she's back on her feet soon!

To create the background of this card, I torn some Heffy Doodle Memo Tape in half and placed it on the top and bottom of the card, with torn edges towards the middle of the card. I then ink blended over the exposed middle in rainbow colors and splatter with water to get the water drops. I also splattered some gold metallic watercolor for added shimmer.

I removed the memo tape which left the torn pattern of color you see below. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on black cardstock with watermark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder,. then adhered to the card. I stamped the dog image in black, cut out and also duie cut his glasses in glitter cardstock and glued to the image. Then adhered the dog just above the sentiment
