Birthday Celebrations!

I am always making birthday cards and the Circled Flowers stencil by A Colorful Life Designs is perfect for birthday-themed cards! It would also be great for a milestone birthday as well. Despite waiting for the glitter gel to dry, this card came together fairly quickly and involved no stamping!

I dry embossed the stencil onto Hammermill cardstock and then blended with rainbow inks. I decided use glitter over the stencil, and if you choose to add glitter gel, dry embossing would not be necessary.

I die cut the Happy Birthday word die from coral cardstock. I added watermark ink to the bottom of the letter and embossed in gold. I die cut the word die again in white cardstock and glued it to the back of the embossed die cut to add dimension. I then die cut a small scalloped panel out of vellum to place behind the embossed word die cut. Once the word die and vellum panel were adhered together, I glued the entire piece to the center of the card front.
