Hello everyone!
A friend and old co-worker of mine relocated out-of-state to Alaska. I always wanted to try a northern lights card and thought this was a perfect opportunity.
In my first attempt, I used Distress Oxides, which I have seen others use as they blend like butter, but that didn't work best for me. I ended up using regular Distress Inks and preferred the outcome of using those for this card.
Her house sits at the base of many trees so I stamped trees in the background in Versafine Onyx black ink and adhered the house in front. She arrived in Alaska a few days ago and is ready to start the next chapter, I wish her well!

SUPPLIES:
Inks: Distress Inks - Chipped Sapphire, Twisted Citron, and Mustard Seed
Sentiment: Unity Stamps, Happy & Cozy
Image: Concord & 9, City Stacks (house)
Embossing Powder: Brutus Monroe, Gilded gold
Cardstock: Neenah Classic Crest Smooth Solar White 120# (base)
Embellishments: Windsor & Newton Gouache and Copic Markers
